Hi, thank you so much for stopping by!
I am running for Marion County Sheriff because I am concerned about the future of the Sheriff's Office and our community.
I was born and raised in Salem, and Marion County today is not the same as it was when I was growing up, or even just a few short years ago. Like many of you, I am concerned about issues like increasing violent crime, drug use and the effect laws that make it more difficult to hold criminals accountable have on public safety in Marion County.
I have spent my entire nineteen-year law enforcement career with the Marion County Sheriff’s Office serving the people of Marion County. I am also a wife, a mother of two young children, a small business owner and an active community volunteer.
I am running for Sheriff because Marion County needs more than just a manager for the Sheriff’s Office; we need someone who will be a leader for public safety and bring much-needed leadership and vision to the Sheriff's Office. We need a sheriff who will take action to reduce and prevent crime throughout Marion County. We need a sheriff who will ensure the Sheriff’s Office can retain and recruit a skilled workforce of deputies and staff who are well-trained, supported and equipped to serve our community. We need a sheriff who has the courage to speak up and bring common sense back to the conversation about public safety. Marion County deserves a sheriff who will staunchly defend our rights, advocate for our community, and support our dedicated law enforcement professionals.
For the first time in 26 years, Marion County voters have a choice of who they want to be their next sheriff. I am the best candidate to lead the revitalization of the Sheriff's Office and tackle the pressing public safety issues confronting our community as the next sheriff of Marion County.
I can’t do it alone. I need your help and I invite you to get involved. With your support, we can make Marion County a place where everyone feels safe to live, work and play so people, businesses and communities can thrive.
